A safe space where your teen girl can openly and honestly share her struggles and challenges with Ramadan in a way you both desperately need

When your daughter thinks about Ramadan, the thoughts she has are those she struggles to say aloud:

— This is long!
— OMG! How am I going to survive?
— Why do I even have to fast?
— What’s the point?

She can’t tell any adults she knows because the truth is: we freak out!

True?

She wants a space where she can openly and honestly talk about her highs, lows, and struggles with Ramadan.

She’d love to feel safe to talk about anything and everything when it comes to Ramadan as a teen.

And we’ve created this space she might call ‘heaven’, we just call it…

I’m LaYinka, and I know your daughter’s struggles with Ramadan and being a Muslim teen, not because I’m 18 (I know I look it!), but because I’ve been speaking to teens just like her and I get it.

Teens have a heck of a lot of pressure they’re facing (and we all know about those hormones raging, right? Eish!), and then adding the ‘restrictions’ they feel Islam comes with… man.

It can be tough.

I know you worry for and about your daughter, and you really want her to truly choose Allah. There is just so much out there that can pull her in all sorts of directions.

I also know you would’ve loved this opportunity when you were a teen.

Now your daughter can have what you didn’t.

ABOUT

Ramadan events for teens are usually lectures that leave them zoning out and secretly suppressing their yawns as they scroll through their phones!

‘Honestly Me — Ramadan Edition’ is different.

Through deep conversations, team games, guided visualisations, problem-solving huddles, and real, down-to-earth sharing, your daughter explores her struggles to come away feeling like Ramadan is for teens like her, too.

And we promise: ZERO boring lectures.

WHAT OTHER TEENS ARE SAYING

The session was awesome. Even though she was an adult I felt like I could trust her.

She made us all feel at ease, and we all felt like we could approach and tell her anything. It was really nice to be able to talk openly and honestly.

She was really funny, approachable, and we found her really relatable.
